James Pradic signed his first professional contract at Preston North End in July 2022.

The goalkeeper put pen to paper on a two-year deal at Deepdale, with the club having the option of a further year.

James first joined North End in 2021, following his release from Charlton Athletic, and went on to have a fantastic season for the U19s, playing a key part in their league and cup double.

He became a regular in first team training, working alongside Freddie Woodman, Dai Cornell and coach Mike Pollitt.

James ended the 2022/23 campaign with Bamber Bridge and helped them reach the Play-Off final with a save in a penalty shootout, and the goalkeeper returned to Brig for the start of the following season.

In November 2023, James signed a new deal which would keep him at the club until at least 2026, and he was named on the first team bench for the first time in January 2024 at Elland Road, against Leeds United.
